The Mazak 250MSY really is a master of all trades. The twin spindles means both ends of a component can be machined. The driven tooling means that holes can be drilled and the brilliant C/Y axis features means features can be milled on the faces and outside faces, all in one go. There really is no quicker machine to make complex components.
And it does not stop there. To make sure it always has material to machine it has been fitted with a Hydrafeed magazine bar feed which pushes new bars in as the old ones run out. Simple and effective.
